A cabin cruiser sunk at its mooring

The sunken boat

This fibreglass cabin cruiser had sunk at its mooring due to heavy rain and lack of maintenance.

R8 Marine were called out by the owner and arrived within twenty four hours of the boat sinking. We attached two 5-tonne lift bags with a heavy duty harness underneath the hull. We inflated the bags, raising the boat and then pumped out the remaining water. The operation was completed in less than a day.
